Rutland Driveways & Landscaping is a family-run firm based in Rutland. We have spent the last eight years building driveways, patios and gardens across the county, and the business has grown almost entirely on recommendations between neighbours.
What we believe a contractor should be
Most problems with driveways and patios are invisible on handover day. They show up two winters later: sunken blocks where the sub-base was skimped, resin that fades because the wrong product was used, patios that pond because nobody set the falls. So our approach is simple: build the part you cannot see properly, and the part you can see looks after itself.
Every member of our team holds NVQ qualifications in their trade. And we put a written 5 year workmanship guarantee on every job, because we expect to still be working in the same villages when it expires.
Why we stay local
We could chase work across three counties. We mostly don't. Working within roughly half an hour of home means we know the ground, the stone, the planning quirks and often the street itself before we arrive. It also means if you ever need us after handover, we are nearby, not a hundred miles away.
