Block paving cleaning
Most tired block drives are dirty and empty of jointing sand rather than worn out.
Most tired block drives are dirty and empty of jointing sand rather than worn out. Washed at the right pressure, treated for weeds and moss, re-sanded with kiln-dried sand and sealed, they come back remarkably well, and it is worth doing every three to five years.

What the job involves
A rotary clean at a pressure that lifts dirt without blasting the sand out of the joints or scarring the blocks, then a weed and moss treatment, fresh kiln-dried jointing sand brushed in, and a sealer if you want one to lock the sand and resist stains.
When cleaning is not enough
If blocks have sunk, rocked or spread, the base or the edges have failed and cleaning will not fix it. We will tell you on the visit and price a repair instead.
